Who we are

Scott Olivier
CEO/President
Scott founded Southwest Building Solutions in 2009, building every project hands-on from start to finish. With a background in architectural drafting and estimating, he’s poured concrete, erected buildings, and worked through every stage of construction. A servant leader at heart, Scott’s big-picture vision is to build a company known for radical generosity and impacting lives—something deeply rooted in his Christian faith. He’s married to Stacy and has two kids who keep him busy with their sports schedules. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and playing hockey himself.

Chad Mack
Chief Financial Officer
Chad brings over 20 years of construction experience and holds a degree in Construction Management. He joined SBS in 2010 and has been a key leader in the company’s growth. Having worked in nearly every role, Chad brings a full-spectrum understanding of the business. From estimating to execution, he’s helped shape the systems and financial strategies that drive SBS forward. Chad is a steady, strategic voice on the executive team and plays a central role in driving operational excellence. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and three sons and coaches their sports teams.

David Neisen
Organizational Development
David brings 28 years of leadership experience in retail, with a focus on aligning people strategies with long-term business goals. He is passionate about building high-performing teams, developing talent, and contributing to a strong workplace culture. At SBS, he also leads charitable giving initiatives and community partnerships. Outside of work, David enjoys hockey, watching his kids play, teaching graduate courses, and serving on the City of Peoria Benefits Trust Board.

Steel Superintendent
Robbie is a Field Superintendent with over 20 years of experience in construction and plant operations. An Arizona native, he’s known for his steady leadership, attention to detail, and pride in building quality projects. He leads an expert field crew, applying real-world knowledge and hard-earned lessons from his mentors. Off the job, Robbie loves hiking, swimming, and riding moto—and values every moment spent outdoors with his family.

Born and raised in Arizona, Grant is passionate about helping customers build shops and garages they’re proud of. Whether managing logistics or overcoming challenges, Grant stays focused on quality. Outside of work, he’s an avid outdoorsman who enjoys backpacking and exploring the desert and mountains.

Project Manager

Originally from Southern California, he now lives in Phoenix with his wife, Venesssa, and their three children. A dedicated hockey dad, David is often found at the rink cheering on his kids. His friendly approach and commitment to service make him a trusted part of the SBS sales team and a valued partner to the customers he serves.

Project Manager
Born and raised in South Dakota, Josh built his work ethic on values like honesty, hard work, and treating people right. He started in construction right out of high school and has worked across nearly every phase of the building process. Josh has a passion for the fine details—the finishing touches that bring a project to life. Outside of work, he spends time with his wife Lea and their two energetic boys. They're his best friends, and he wouldn't have it any other way.

With over a decade of experience in sales and customer service, Jason helps guide SBS customers through each step of the building process. Originally from Wisconsin, he brings a friendly, dependable style that puts clients at ease. He’s known for listening well, solving problems, and making the experience smooth from start to finish. On weekends, Jason enjoys time with his wife and three sons, often cheering them on at the hockey rink.
Devin Bell
MBS Manager
Devin brings over 10 years of experience in customer service and logistics to the SBS sales team. His passion for metal buildings began early—helping his grandfather build a shop sparked his interest. Devin is known for his calm, consistent approach and his ability to guide clients confidently through their projects. When he’s not working, you’ll find him outdoors with his wife and their two pit bulls, soaking up the Arizona sun.
Matt Rubel

With more than 20 years of sales experience, Matt takes pride in helping customers bring their shop dreams to life. He sees every project as a privilege and works hard to make the experience smooth and rewarding. Known for his integrity and follow-through, Matt is a steady presence on the SBS team. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling overseas with his wife and two teenagers and embracing new adventures as a family.

Devin has called Arizona home since 2017 and was once a customer of SBS himself—an experience that led him to join the team. Before SBS, he spent years in education as a teacher and principal, then successfully owned and operated a business for over seven years. His background in service and leadership shapes how he supports customers today. At home, Devin is a proud father of five and husband to his wife, Robyn, who continues to inspire his work and purpose.

Human Resources Director
With a degree in HR Management and over five years of experience, Renata supports SBS with a passion for building strong, healthy teams. She oversees hiring, benefits, and employee development, helping ensure SBS remains a workplace where people thrive. At home, she’s a proud mom of six and loves seeking adventure with her husband and family—from hiking and paddleboarding to baking sweet treats together in the kitchen.
Her passion for people extends beyond her family and into her career. With a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Arizona Global Campus and more than five years of HR experience, she is dedicated to fostering workplace cultures where employees feel valued, engaged, and empowered to grow. From talent acquisition and employee relations to benefits administration and performance management, she thrives on creating environments where both individuals and organizations can flourish. When not building meaningful connections at work or seeking adventure with her family, she finds happiness in the kitchen, baking sweet treats for friends and loved ones. The warmth of a homemade dessert and the joy it brings others is just another way she expresses her love and care. Whether guiding a team, raising a family, or whipping up something delicious, she is committed to making life sweeter—one connection, one adventure, and one homemade treat at a time.
